Why Raynor Massage?

Raynor Massage is a holistic form of bodywork developed by naturopath Brandon Raynor that goes beyond traditional massage. Instead of focusing only on muscles, it works on the whole person - body, mind and energy. This deep, holistic bodywork aims to release chronic tension patterns throughout the entire body, rather than just treating isolated symptoms.

What makes it different? Unlike standard relaxation or spa massages:

  • it works along the "bands of tension" that can run from head to toe not just isolated sore spots

  • sessions often include deep pressure, stretching, joint mobilization and compression.

  • It involves areas often skipped in typical massages such as the abdomen, hips, feet, hands and jaw.

  • Pressure can be intense but purposeful, always adjusted to the client

  • It is a partnership massage of working together to release tension held in the body. Each treatment is tailored to the individual rather than following a fixed routine

  • It uses conscious breathing and focuses on restoring natural energy like chi or prana

The core idea is that stress and emotions are stored in the physical body. During sessions people may experience:

  • deep relaxation or relief

  • Emotional releases such as laughter, crying, anger or a sense of letting go

  • increases body awareness

  • improved breathing and posture

This isn't forced - it happens naturally as tension is released

Common benefits people have reported:

  • relief from chronic pain and stiffness

  • better mobility and flexibility

  • reduced stress and anxiety

  • improved circulation and energy levels

  • a feeling of being more connected and grounded in the body

Things to Know before having a treatment

  • It can be more intense than a typical massage

  • Communication with your therapist is important

  • not always ideal if you want a gentle, purely relaxing spa experience

Raynor Massage is a deep, full-body therapy that works through layers of physical and emotional tension to restore natural movement, energy flow and overall well-being.
